And so I came back from Taiwan, passed out as a 3SG, got posted to 5 SIR, met up with the climbers today. Yea that about sums up my life this past week.

Taiwan. Experienced my first typhoon there. Heavy rain and strong winds. Temperature there reached a high of 36 degC in the day while at night I shivered in my wet uniform. Terrain mountainous and challenging. Not exactly the best treatment received there. But hey, I survived. R&R was great. Shihlin and Ximending were great places to shop, the endless crowd of people and not to mention the cute girls that Taiwan has to offer.

Passed out on Thursday, parents came down to watch and put on my chevrons. Got a few photos, but I'm lazy to upload =/ Posted out to 5 SIR, taking 1st year men. "Swift, Deadly, Silent"

Lunch outing today with the climbers at Breeks. Had melted chicken pattie which was quite good, but not quite filling. Swensen's apple crumble after that, couldn't finish it as it was too sweet and I got sick of it lol. Watched Meet Dave after that with the guys who didn't need to book in and the girls who didn't need to rush home. Quite a nice show, funny and touching. Next movies to watch: Money No Enough 2 and Wall.E. Anyone free? =D

Sometimes I feel so tired of putting on a smile, that false facade, even when I'm unhappy.
Sometimes I don't even know why I feel this way. Please stop this.
