Another 13weeks for the 3SG rank. Zzz such a long time. Don't even know whether can survive ASLC anot :(
So I just passed out of BSLC today, after a gruelling 28km route march. I couldn't feel my legs after that, really. The 28km route march, or the National Education march as they call it, started off at the Kranji War Memorial. Quite an eye-opener for me as I didn't know such a place even existed. Was filled with many thoughts as I walked past rows after rows of neatly arranged tombstones with the names of the fallen soldiers engraved onto them. Some didn't even have names on them, which was quite sad to see. They sacrificed themselves in their line of duty, which left me deeply in awe and respect. This was the reality of war, the cruelty of it. The number of graves there were but just a small representation of the actual amount of soldiers who laid down their lives in the war.
Anyway, the 28km route march was really tiring and for most of the walk it was pretty mental already. Thoughts of falling out were in my head as I pushed on and I'm proud to say I have completed the 28km route march :)
Next phase of training : ASLC
13weeks of hell before I pass out as a 3SG. Hopefully get posted to Tekong if I managed to complete the course.

And it's time to book in... Again zz!
The long weekend for me was rather good. Been so long since I spent so many days sleeping on my own bed lol. Not having to wake up at 0515 is a good thing too. But I think these few days out and all the junk food I ate is going to kill me soon. Theres SOC tml and I seriously dun think I can run hahaha.
Going back to Tekong this week for 4 days. Tuesday to Friday for Ex Wanderer and Ex Grandslam. Hopefully can book out on Friday. *crosses fingers* Better not be a heatwave over there, else I'm gonna come back roasted.
Anyway, I received letters from both NTU and NUS already. Accepted into Chemical Engineering for both. =D Most probably going to accept the NUS one, but I'm still going to leave my options open for the time being. I'm happy to hear any opinions from anybody.

I'm FINALLY back! After 9 days of training. Rawr!
Tiring week I had. Didn't get enough sleep due to the number of outfield trainings. I slept 2 hours on Sunday night and woke up for field camp the next day. Imba. Weather also very 'nice', surely not hot like hell.
2 more weeks to CPL rank. Next week going back Tekong again. So sian. 4 days of exercises in Tekong sure shag out one. Can't wait for all of this to end. Zzz.
Went out with the climbers today for a get-together with Mr Tan. Ate at MOF, quite nice but my wallet not happy already. Lol. After that slack around Marina Square, couldn't decide wad else to do. Quite hard to find something for both guys and gals to do. Only things I can think of are movies, dining, climbing and talking cock. Lol.
Somehow I can't really find things to blog about. Maybe army really turns your brains into porridge. Byebye >.<
