Another 13weeks for the 3SG rank. Zzz such a long time. Don't even know whether can survive ASLC anot :(

So I just passed out of BSLC today, after a gruelling 28km route march. I couldn't feel my legs after that, really. The 28km route march, or the National Education march as they call it, started off at the Kranji War Memorial. Quite an eye-opener for me as I didn't know such a place even existed. Was filled with many thoughts as I walked past rows after rows of neatly arranged tombstones with the names of the fallen soldiers engraved onto them. Some didn't even have names on them, which was quite sad to see. They sacrificed themselves in their line of duty, which left me deeply in awe and respect. This was the reality of war, the cruelty of it. The number of graves there were but just a small representation of the actual amount of soldiers who laid down their lives in the war.

Anyway, the 28km route march was really tiring and for most of the walk it was pretty mental already. Thoughts of falling out were in my head as I pushed on and I'm proud to say I have completed the 28km route march :)

Next phase of training : ASLC
13weeks of hell before I pass out as a 3SG. Hopefully get posted to Tekong if I managed to complete the course.
